I dug around in the cellar and found a bottle of this wine, which I probably obtained 6-8 years ago while still a member of the Beringer Reserve Wine Club. Poured straight from bottle; cork in perfect condition.

Deep, clear plum color to rim with a nose displaying dark tea, earth, and minor notes of cranberry. Cranberry, green herbs, and oak vie for attention and lead to a straight forward textbook 25 second Beringer finish. Very food friendly. Popcorn 90 points.
