Good depth for a CA Zin. Good Bouquet. Flavors of berry. Definitely oak notes. More intense than I expected. Softened during the evening after opening. Overall, an enjoyable wine. Score: 88-89.

I agree that this is a very good value. I was allocated 4 bottles of this from the winery and this was the first one I opened. I look forward to trying another in 6-12 months.

Last wine served of the night after dinner and dessert, heck this wine is like dessert!
Color, very very dark, nose is all Zin power, berry and bursting with fruit. Taste is multi-dimensional, a new taste treat with each sip. Raspberry, spice, tobacco, cola, peppery, oak but not overpowering (I don't like real oaky wines). I've really gotten the bug for Turley wines, thanks Zinfanman for selling some! Big mouthfeel with a long finish.
This wine was the biggest hit with the other tasters. Nice finish to the evening.

I had just popped a bottle of this on Sunday night, as this is my wife's fav (Turley that is, not necessarily the Old Vines bottling). Unfortunately, didn't take notes this time, but have had it many times.
