100% Merlot.

Dark ruby colour. Aromas of cherry, plums, earth, herbs, currant, hint of cocoa, blackberry, and vanilla. Medium-full bodied, integrated tannins, showing currant, red plums, dried herbs, and spice on the palate. Moderate finish, 30-35s, with red plums. 88 points (06/18/2005).

2001 Terrabianca Il Tesoro Toscana IGT - Italy, Tuscany, Toscana IGT (10/30/2009)
WIMLNR

Tasted October 20, 2009.

Dark garnet in the glass, clear hue throughout. Tight nose giving way to notes of laquer, flaowers and licorice. Flavors of berries only. Light to medium acidity, fully resolved tannins, light to medium body. This bottle is "off" in comparison to previous bottles opened and I would lean more towards it starting to fade. If you have any I'd pop one soon and take it for a test drive for yourself.
