Popped and poured w/o decanting.

Deep purple to ruby coloring, leggy, w/a slight amount of opaqueness due to some fine sediment. Lots of berry notes on the nose, w/dusty oak and a faint touch of mint. Deep dark fruits - currant, black cherry, blackberries, w/a touch of cedar, mineral, and sweet tannin. Everything is integrated extremely well - fruit/tannin/acid - providing a full-bodied mouthfeel and a long, rich finish of about 15-20 seconds. Performing very well and should continue to hold for another 2-3 yrs. at least. A solid 92-93 pts., and a great showing for a 15 yr. old Cali cab.

Kybo,

Did you pick this up recently or have you had it in your collection for a few years? Sounds like an excellent red.

IW;
I've been working on collecting a vertical of these for a couple of years, which included a '94, two '95s, two '96s, and a '97. I've had a '95 a little while back that was very good but not nearly as good as the '94.

I've also had the '92, which I unfortunately drank about 10 yrs. too soon!
