This I liked purdy good. I think I paid mid $20 at the WineExchange in Orange, Ca. My foots at least wet in regards to Germany, but that's about it. Yeast, minerals, lemon on the nose. Grapefruit and lemon dominate the firmly crisp palate, this is where I like acidity, makes even a sweet wine lean and mean. Long finish with the yeast making a return visit. 90 points.

Stealthman -- I could have sworn I posted TNs on this wine a few months ago, but my search of the database came up empty. But I agree with you -- it's a great bottle of wine.
As I recall, what impressed me about it more than anything else was how delicate and complex the structure is -- a wonderfully complex array of intense flavors supported on a spiderweb framework of prefectly integrated acidity. I think I rated it a bit higher than you did -- something like 92 points. Not cheap at the $30+/btl I paid, but highly recommended. |

Finished the last glass and a half last night with Chinese, even better than the first night, the balance really came together with a day of air on it, very nice. Will see if I can find a little more of this. Thanks for the confirmation bottmfishr, like I said, I've barely got my feet wet in Germany, glad to see you enjoyed as well.
