Dark in color with an intense nose of concentrated fruit. On the palate, the wine is full of blackerry jam, blueberry, cassis, chocolate and cedar. Finely polished tannins provide a lush, long finish. The intensity of the fruit/oak makes the wine sweet but in a non-intrusive way. A remarkable and memorable wine. This wine has years of life and I will revisit again in 2-3 years. I love Gary's winemaking style and he is definately one of my favorite winemakers.

Thanks for the TNs. I've never had any of Gary's wines prior to 1997. Glad that they hold up well. Love his stuff!
