Purchased this past Xmas season for $65; decanted for an hour before serving.
Dark cranberry/ruby colors softening a bit, dark, thick legs. Nose of cedar, mint, warm blackberry pie; creamy red and black fruit on the palate, w/more soft mint and cedar notes. Great balance, warm fruits and a touch of spicy oak on the finish. I've not had this before this past weekend, but I can't believe it'll get any better. 92-93 pts., holding its own very nicely - can go another 5-6 yrs. w/o too much trouble. Kybo,
Did you pick this up in Atlanta or during one of your many business trips? Thx for the TN. BTW according to wine-searcher there are a couple of places in NYC that have this in the low $60's. Nope; I bought a trio of these while on Hilton Head Is. last year. I've seen another small stash of this somewhere else, but I don't recall...too many biz trips - all the airports look the same
