NOSE: initially tight; botrytis peeks out about one hour after uncorking, along with a bitter orange aroma and a sweet onion undertone; simple; never really opened-up much over the course of 5 hours.
BODY: maize golden color of medium to medium-deep depth; medium-full to full bodied.
TASTE: sweet; botrytis evidence; orange sherbet, dried apricot, and dried pineapple aromas; 12.5% alc. not noticeable; decent acidity; drinks its best at a couple-to-few degrees above cellar temp.; paired wonderfully with French brie cheese; not complex, but quite tasty. A great change-of-pace botrytis-affected sweet wine.
