Got this at Morrells in the Rockefeller Plaza last summer for about $20, as I reacll.
What an odd dessert wine. Like a cloudy tawny, which I thought might be a sign of damage, but we had it at the BBR offline last night, just for fun, and those who know these things better than I thought it was a natural cloudiness.
Medium bodied, almost even medium-light, with flavours of heavily steeped tea, rum raisin icecream without the raisins, cinnamon, and root beer. As Monty Python might have said, it was something completely different!

I rather liked it, actually. More a light-bodied PX than a tawny Port, but tasty nonetheless! It did pale a bit compared to the rest of the line-up (IMHO, of course!)

Very nice indeed and always good to try. Never had something like this before, so thanks Bman!!!
Urhh, sorry to say, but after a day carrying the almost empty and immensly stickie bottle through the city of London, we donated it to a bin, hopefully to be picked up by a homeless guy.....

No doubt any self-respecting street person would appreciate even a few last licks of it!
While I have your attention, Lady and Ronnie R, I was remiss in forgetting to thank you for sneaking away from work for a couple of days just for our little BBR offline. Thanks for making the effort, and making it even more fun than it would otherwise have been. And thanks to everyone else who travelled some distance to swill port that evening too!!
