2009 Thomas Fogarty Santa Cruz Mountains Pinot Noir A light garnet color with soft, phenolic nose. Dense mid plate loaded with raspberries, rhubarb and tart cherrries. Some cooking spices and cola. Long finish with dusty tannins. My wife said it reminded her of cough syrup. Perhaps. Paired well with pasta and fish both. Not overly complex and perhaps a bit excessive fruit but still very enjoyable. 90 points. Ardeis in SeminoleThis message has been edited. Last edited by: Ardeis,

86 points: Sweet red fruit, candy-like. Nice spices and orange. Interesting but just a little rough.
