A little gamy on the nose, so I let this sit in the decanter for 1/2 hour, which helped it a bit. Some nice pepper, plums, a bit of earth. Tannins smooth. No sediment. Balanced, but nothing special. Paid about $35, 87-89pts

Opened this last night. Agree with Bob that it improved with some decant air and picked up some weight too. Good cedar/cigar wrap on the nose. Medium-full bodied, good cherry & plum flavours and a decent finish. I'd score it a couple of points higher than he did. Call it 89-90.
