This was the predecessor to the current Plumpjack Estate. From magnum, this wine is in no sign of decline. Drinking very well, in it's prime, but certainly capable of more cellar time. A beautiful ageworthy CA cab. Notes of sweet earth, red rose potpurri, mulling spice, black cherry, cigar tobacco, and creme de cassis. Lovely bottle sweetness in the long, silky, moderately tannic finish. This was a treat. 94 pts.
So much wine.....so little time!!!
