  • 2005 Château de Cabriac Carignane - France, Languedoc Roussillon, Languedoc, Corbières (10/11/2008)
A nose of some alcohol and tart blackberries. It is a Syrah / Mourvedre / Granache / Carignan blend from Languedoc. On the palate, it is old world with more dark fruits and round but present tannins. Enjoyable, I am going to get a case of this to cellar for the short term (3-5years). It is a solid wine with a couple hour decant. 86 points Oh and under $10.00 CDN!(86 pts.)
