Tasted alongside a few Boredeaux yawners. Dark purple, almost black colour. Black fruit, bramble and vanilla on the nose. Yikes. Huge wine. Full bodied and really rich, but is balanced out by good acidity. Blackberry and vanilla flavours on a good, but very tannic finish. This needs more time, but I liked it. This wines has cajones. 93 points. I hear they're trying to make wines from Malbec in Argentina?

"Tasted 1 year ago."
Did you find this tn between the couch cushions? "This regions is seriously undervalued for the quality of wines it produces." I think the value is just right. I put this in the sane and fair price category. ALthough if more people appreciated Cahors, maybe we would get a few more here in the U.S. |
