2005 Domaine le Sang des Cailloux Vacqueyras Cuvée Doucinello - France, Rhône, Southern Rhône, Vacqueyras (10/23/2009) Off the list at Webster. Great stuff. Pretty wild nose with plenty of garrigue, red fruits, earthy and hint of fur. Med+ body, balanced with a med acidity, palate is pretty much like the nose with a nice smokiness adding to he overall complexity. Iron finish that I often find in their wines (there's also a light mineral touch on the nose). Tannins are still a little firms but give a good structure to the wine. Exactly what I expect and want in a Vacqueyras. (92 pts.)
