Tasted at the Wine Club Saturday. First time they had it opened, I had the Clarendon Vineyard, Romas, and Blewitt on previous visits.
Deep rich dark red. Nose was a little muted, but black fruit, not floral like some Grenache.
Big thick and very well structured. The tannins were tight and tart, but ripe. Not showing a great deal now. Just a ton of pucker and hints of anise, pepper and ripe fruit. Unlike the other single vineyards which are showing pretty well right now, this one needs 3-4 years to come together.
No signs of weakness or that it won't develop, a solid 92-94. I bought 3 bottles.
