This Nebbiolo is a bit grapey like a Pinot Noir or a Tempranillo with sweet, red berry fruit on the nose (almost jam like). Some fruit on the palate but a decent tannic bite and sour acidity are at the forefront. A little pepper and spice, well structured and enjoyable. This wine, like many other old world wines makes me wish some more of the fruit would make it onto the palate. The fruit seemed to dissipate with air, I would taste before decanting if I had to do it over again.
