grossie You liked the Evangile best of the three, and said it was just starting to drink well. I also like Evangile, but would have held that 1995 till 2010-15, where I would bet that it would have showed better!
I do not have any 1995, but I have a couple of bottles of the 1990, which I'm holding till 2010. --- Should you not have anymore of the 1995, I see where Binny's has it for $115; a very nice price!
Latour- the Troplong was from my cellar. The other 2 were from a wine list. I don't disagree that these are better off held for now. I'm not in a rush to open more in the near term.
1995 was the year Mrs G and I were married, so these were 10 year anniversary wines. I have about another 4-5 cases of 95s for the future.
******* This IS next year!

grossie Congrats on 1995! I bought two cases of 1995 Meyney about 3 or 4 years ago for $25 per bottle from Sherry-Lehmann, and see where Binny's has it now for, $28.99. The Meyney is a very nice wine that can be enjoyed now, or in the next 15 years. You might consider some 1995 Meyney to add to your collection of 1995's; the wine is good and the price is nice.
