just got here.
I've had the 98 and the 99.
Don't have specific notes but in spite of the vintage..I liked the 98 better. I believe they started bottling special cuvees in 99. Perhaps the good grapes went to the expensive bottles?
Any way, the 98 was richer.
Drank a bottle of the 99 while watching the St. Louis Rams get stomped in the Super Bowl last year.

I thought the 1999 was quite good(Similar to Whthall Ln). But maybe it was just the blonde that was pouring it.
She was gorgeous.

I should clarify,
I loved the 98 too.
Did not have a blonde to pour, maybe that would have helped.
