2006 Turley Zinfandel Dusi Vineyard - USA, California, Central Coast, Paso Robles (9/17/2008)
WIML90+ Tasted September 17, 2008 at an offline. 16.4% alcohol. Opened and served i mmediately. Dark purple color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Nose has a little dried herbs and wet stones up front followed by some balsamic and black berry notes. Later picked up a graham cracker aroma. Flavors of boysenberry, black berries and currants. Medium acidity and tannins, medium to full body. Drink or hold. (90 pts.) Joe ----- Wine is like potato chips around me...if it's open, it's gone. |

I don't recall seeing the Dusi for purchase at retail in Texas. Most that buy it here that I know of buy it direct from the winery.

Thanks for the notes. I've had a couple of other Dusis and liked them, '02 and '04 I believe. FWIW big and red, I bought both in Indiana, so they're getting some distribution.
