This is an excellent, delicious Chianti Reserva, but it really needs decanting, i suggest 3 hours, you will taste and smell it open up, mellow out and become a great food wine, with luscious cherry, dark chocolate and all-spice notes.. When you open it up however, it smells and tastes very closed and tannic, so do the decanting and you will be greatly rewarded, also, for that quality, a great QPR, 91 pts (91 pts.)
