My aunt brought this bottle to a tepanyaki dinner today. She said it's a small production, and I've never heard of this winery before.
I thought I'm going to hate this wine at first. Herbal black olive smell on opening... But after 15 minutes of air time, the wine tremendously improve. I've never had australian shiraz in this style before; I'd have guess it's from Rhone. Elegant, pure fruits (blackberry and plum), full bodied but not heavy, and refreshing finish. Herbal aroma is still present but only in tiny amount that add to overall complexity of the wine. Almost sweet finish and linger in the month. 92 points.
