2006 Weingut Spreitzer Oestricher Lenchen Riesling Erstes Gewächs - Germany, Rheingau (10/27/2009)

I recently purchased a few bottles of this wine for $15 each. It normally sells for $35. This estate produces a total of 6500 cases per year. 92% of which is Riesling. They are a fine producer which has been on the rise since Andreas and Bernd Spreitzer took over from their Father in 1997. 12.5% alcohol. This was a medium bodied mostly dry wine. Lush with notes of apple, petrol and a fine minerality. 90 points.
