1990 Domaine Comte Georges de Vogüé Bonnes Mares - France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Bonnes Mares Grand Cru (12/21/2008) Popped and poured. A little slow to open up. Good fruit and some spice were hiding in the glass. Very nice texture and lovely aromatics. No harsh edges. Chocolate and cherries and a little earthiness and limestone minerality. The wine was very nice, but most tasters were left with the impression that this wine could improve with time. (92 pts with room to improve.)
