This is a Bulgarian wine. It's so warm indoors, and I only have Chablis Grand Crus or Sauternes nearby to cool me off... and this Bulgarian wine, meant for cooking purposes. Shumen is a region in the North East of the country and Domaine Boyar (partly in international hands) is one of the largest wine-makers in the region.
In fridge, thus cold.
The nose is OK, with some honey and orange. On the palate...eh, cold. Some flavours (citrus) and I think they may have added some muscat to it? (wax notes, pine forest). Short finish.
A cheap wine and a generous 80 points, because it was the only cold white available and drinkable.
Next time I do my shopping in time.
