2006 Niepoort Douro Vertente - Portugal, Douro (5/12/2009) This had really good genes, folks A raspberry spicy leaning nose, with cream and some pain grille . A luscious yet peppery mouth feel, pretty excellent length and complexity for such a young wine, which you also can tell from the racy acidity, all in all, impressive work. (92 pts.)
Since they are so young, I will be curious to see how they evolve, although, because/in spite of their acidity and explosiveness they are quite drinkable now.
