Dpromphan, The St Henri is a deceptive wine because it appears fairly simple when young, but it evolves into something quite spectacular after 10 years, and in the better vintages can last 20+ years.

Never had this but have been tempted by three 1998 Bin 407 tucked away at a local shop. Heard good things about it but never was a big Penfolds fan. Still considering. Hear the 2002 is really good too.

Pauly, I believe you that St. Henri can age very well, but I am the impatient one  . I had '98 and '99 when they are about 5 years old and they were fabolous. By comparison, the '01 which I had this summer was over the top for me. It's just too much force and alcohol. DP
