2005 Arista Winery Pinot Noir Longbow - USA, California, Sonoma County, Russian River Valley (5/16/2008) This note is based upon the wine being open for about 4 hours. Clean and elegant notes of strawberries, rhubarb, cherries, red clay, and oyster shells. Mouth-filling on the palate, with nice acidity. Not completely seamless, however, and the finish is a little woolly. A very tasty wine nonetheless. 89-90 points. (89 pts.)
