Blend of Cab, Merlot, Cab Franc, Zinfandel, Pinot Noir, Syrah and Grenache. Sort of a "kitchen sink" wine. Big, bold and quite hearty, but lacking in acidity. I thought it was a nice quaffer but probably will not buy again.

mattach,
Previous vintages have been better, and I usually pick up a half dozen or so, but I was warned off this one by a trusted merchant.
Sounds like you bear him out.

Popped and poured this last night. The syrah really dominted the nose and palate of this 7 blend red. A good nose of bacon with some irony notes. Full bodied on the palate with a slant toward dark berries and minerals. This is ready to drink with limited upside. B-/B.
