I recently came across what seemed like a decent deal on 97 Gruaud -- $26.95 / bottle. Winesearcher had these at various prices -- mostly double what I paid. I know that Parker's initial low-90s rating has been revised downward in subsequent tastings (still high 80s, though). At this price, I thought that a 2nd growth in a early-maturing vintage might be a decent purchase (as it's no fun to always have to buy and hold forever).

Has anyone tried the 97? At this price I guess I could afford to crack one and see for myself, but I thought I'd see if anyone had notes on where this wine is at the moment.
