Enjoyed this with Mr. and Mrs. Keeler in So Cal. Quite youthful in color even after 15 years with the very slight hint of bricking at the edges. Nose was very pretty, cassis, blue fruits, sweet cherries. On palate, it is powerful with the cherry/blue fruits leading the charge, hints of tobacco, mocha and cassis. Long length. I have always been impressed with Seavey's. 94pts

Your note is spot on, thanks for bringing this. I wish this "style" of wine was easier to find these days in CA ….
