Popped these in Louisville w/a $12 hamburger last night.

'99 - corked - in the dumpah!
'01 - Hard to really tell the color as the bar was very dimly lit (present company excluded!), but the wine showed no real signs of lightening or fading. Good nose of cherry and raspberry fruits, sweetly-spiced bramble, and pepper; the palate changed from soft, spicy red fruits up front to more of a blueberry and soft oak model. Short-mid length finish.

A good wine, nothing to write home about, though I believe that w/better provenance it would have shown better. 86-87 pts. - drink'em now.

"Actually, it only takes one drink to get me loaded. Trouble is, I can't remember if it's the thirteenth or fourteenth."
