2000 Château Grand Moulinet - France, Bordeaux, Libournais, Pomerol (3/24/2007)
WIML88

Tasted March 24, 2007 at home with a brief decant out of Spiegelau Authentis Magnum glass. Garnet color in the glass, slightly dusty looking throughout. Really good nose of kirsh with a leathery/meaty component followed by some cassis and cherries. Slightly flat on the palate (consistent with previous tasting) with mostly red fruit components such as cherries and berries. Medium acidity, light to medium tannins, light to medium body. Showing slightly better than the previous tasting so we’re upping the previous score by a point for the moment. Will try again later this year to check for potential improvement. (88 pts.)
