Pale yellow, note much on nose, but hints of citrus and granny smith apple. Not much complexity. Lovely bead and effervescence, but not much behind it. Short finish, ~10-15s. Disappointing. 81 points (03/15/2004).

I don't understand the WS89 score on this.

Had the latest version of this recently (Bastille Day).

Nose: Bright citrus and some some nice floral notes. At first, some nice toast, with more citrus, bit of yeast, a bit sweeter than I prefer. Good, not great. 85pts, there are better options in this range.
