2008 Ponzi Vineyards Pinot Noir - USA, Oregon, Willamette Valley (2/8/2013) This is really, really good. I've had two of these before apparently but not written a note. Curious.
Nicely balanced with a very long finish. The nose is pretty with cherry and toasted oak. Cherry is a little softer on the palate, juicy, some black pepper, some vanilla, a bit of earth. Long finish still just a little rough.
