Sorry was meant to post this on Saturday but didn't drink until today. I bought this on
Board-o's suggestion as I had a choice between the 1985 and the 1986, one of the only times I even seen Napa cab on this side of the planet.

Colour: Still deep red with only the smallest hint of browning.
Nose: Berries (after 16 years !!!!), cedar and a spiced plum character- sort of christmas pudding like, but not plummy.
Palate: The tannins were still evident and seemed to roll them selves around the inside of my mouth. Acids were dropping but still nice mouthfeel.
Overal: I really enjoyed this wine. Would score it 90/100
Thanks Board-o. Worth the $120 NZD I paid?- not sure but worth the expiriment. [Big Grin]
