2006 Carrick Pinot Noir Unravelled - New Zealand, South Island, Otago, Central Otago (10/31/2009)

Tasted October 31, 2009 at a retail tasting.

Light garnet color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Nose of fertilizer, thatch and berries. Flavors of berries and Bing cherries. Light to medium acidity, medium tannins, light to medium body. Drink over the short term. (85 pts.)

That doesn't sound great. I had the regular bottling and thought it was excellent...
