The first hour it was opened, overwhelming minerals and lead, 24 hrs later, the heat and minerals disappeared and opened up to cherries and fruits. First time I had a chianti that was better after 24 hrs.

I enjoy Querciabella Chiantis. The 2000 was good as well. It is not a lightweight at all, so I'm not surprised it showed better the next day.

Wonderful wine have had it twice in a three year span and it is only getting better!!!.
