Domaine Mondivin Villanyi Cabernet Franc 2001

Although I was told this Hungarian was good one, I still was very suprised when a couple of friends and I had some glasses yesterday (because I always thought, stupid stupid, that only Tokaj was good in Hungary). In the nose very fresh and floral, with sweet raspberries. Medium bodied, silky and full of fruit. Raspberries, cherries and some licorice. Elegant, delicate and fully balanced, with a little too dry finish, but still very, very good. This one, if available, needs to be followed. 89-90pts.

And as a finishing touch, God created the Dutch!
