Drink up. This is a perfect example of why zin, in general, should be consumed earlier in its life. Had this twice before, and it was a great monster (92 points). Right now, the fruit is slowly fading (88 points). I would predict that in another year this wine would not be worth drinking.

Hmmm. Had a bottle about a week ago. Thought it was delicious. So far all the newer vintages I have tasted were a bit tight and will remain for a few years watching the darkness.

BTW, they are tasting some whites this weekend with oysters at $1 each for those that eat that stuff...
