Initially opened at 11:30 this morning and immediately showing a light garnet color in the glass with a somewhat reserved nose of cherries with a slight touch of cedar. Medium bodied with flavors of cherries, slight strawberry and cedar again accompanied with a bracing acidity that really mellows out as the day goes on without losing its backbone. This starts out super tight, but has blossomed into a beautiful Pinot throughout the day evolving in the bottle and/or glass. Would recommend decanting...I will with my next bottle to bring it along a little more quickly, or just hang on for a few more years. 90pts.
