Poured staight from the bottle after opening for about 30 minutes. Dark crimson color with good legs. Sweet nose of cassis and chocolate. Delicious aroma fills the senses. Initial palate still shows significant tannin with cherry and sage staring to emerge. Has a long, smooth finish. Will definately improve over a few hours of being open. Also will be much better in a year or two. 91-92 pts
