Another Fife fan here. Thought their reserve 98 was one of the best of the vintage I tasted.
Looking forward to the 99s from a consistently fine winery.

Actually I like Fife much better for their Rhone style wines. I have in the past found their cabs to be too green and acidic. Maybe I'll give them one more shot. KOH you should try a bottle of Fife Max.

I just put six 99s reserves in my cellar. Will try sooner rather than later, with decanting.

RL - Thanks for clueing me into the '99 Fife. I'm a little surprised that the Reserve is so enjoyable now. The '97's (Reserve and reg.) still have a way to go.
In response to your ? I've tried the '99 Hanna, but never had the Cana so I can't really comment.

Tonester - I also enjoy the Max Cuvee' from a good vintage. Have you tried IO?

Better Red Than Not!

Good to hear about the 99. The 97 Reserve and regular bottling were 2 of my favs of the vintage. I have a magnum of the 97 reserve slated for Christmas Eve.
