Sweet blueberry fruit with a blend of red berry cola on the nose. After a little air time, a light sweet oak appears.
Lush, inky blueberries and olives backed by an overload of black peppers. A lasting 30 second finish that turns bitter.
I felt the syrah added was very distracting, it gave it too much of crushed black pepper to the palate. It totally misses out on crushed red berry flavors that I love about Cabs.
A pretty good wine, if I had bought it for 30$ instead of 45$.
