2005 Barons de Rothschild (Lafite) Cabernet Sauvignon Los Vascos Reserve - Chile, Central Valley, Rapel Valley, Colchagua Valley (7/19/2008) earthiness on the nose. some fruit, nothing that jumped out. Little bit of pepper or spice on the finish. Good, but probably better with food. Slightly expensive for the quality. My guess is age will not add to the wine. Will drink my last bottle at some point, but not excited about it. (87 pts.)

Perhaps I should try again.
I didn't get bell pepper specifically but there was a hint of greenness that I was having a hard time identifing - the slight bite on the finish hid the greenness flavor well. The greenness was not nearly as strong as some of the other chilean cabs i have tried.
I re-read the TN and it made the wine sound bad - the wine was not bad - just not as good as the "salesman" at my LWS had insisted - he said "lafite" and "Baron" probably 20 times. Try it with food and it will be a good table wine.
