Amber with medium legs and viscosity, this well textured wine oozes oak, butter, and peachy fruit.Well balanced with a lush modest finish, a great buy at $13.99, I rate 89 stretching to achieve 90.

I agree with your notes. Catena has become one of my favorite 'everyday' chards.
I don't think the 2001 matches up to the 2000, but it's not too far off. [Big Grin]
