Dark colored, full-bodied, with a balanced blend of red and black fruit, ripe tannins, and good acidity. With notes of tar, smoke and grilled meat the wine is supple and smooth. A delicious wine! I had this wine several times after release and the fruit was abundant and forward. Great then, it is even better now with everything coming together nicely. I wish I had more than just a couple remaining bottles. For about $15 it makes me ponder why I would ever want to spend more than $30 on a bottles of wine.
