This is a very good deal for CAD$22, I think. Not a powerhouse of a wine, but sufficient muscle to stand up to roast lamb with minced lamb stuffing. Deep purple colour, lotsa fruit, not a long finish but OK. Should have let it breath for an hour perhaps, as it was much better towards the end than it was on opening, which we did about 15 minutes before the meal. I don't have much experience with malbec but from what I've read here, this is probably a pretty typical one.
