Opened and decanted, then put back in the bottle. Very little sediment if any. Tasted half hour later at dinner. It took another half hour for the wine to open up. Deep ruby red, nose of spice and flowers. Not showing much in the middle. Berry flavors with oak on the finish. The oak went away through the night as the wine became very seamless. The fairly tannic finish also disappeared with time. Although I have stopped purchasing these wine’s because of its QPR, it’s hard not to like the Select wines. A very good bottle of wine. I have a few more of these and suggest another 3-5 years before opening another. 94 points
