Have you been there before? let me know if you need any recommendations. My wife and I went last October. Enjoy. Now back to the regularly scheduled thread.

We are most likely out of the off-line gig for a while, Natalie is at an age where off-lines are difficult, but hopefully we will host one again soon, down the road.

What, you don't want to post your address for all to see after talking about a big brown box... Big Grin Let me know if you want me to pick up the Prisoner in Encinitas for you, I'm heading over there before noon on Saturday.

This sounds like a great, tight-knit group willing to let new people experience great wines with them! I am really looking forward to going to my first off-line! I would feel welcome trying to attend on the 19th and I haven't even asked yet! However, the Paso Robles 25th Anniversary is the 19th and I sort of committed to being there. But I can't wait to join the community at an off-line very soon...

Sounds like the 19th is pulling into a comfortable lead.

Wine Joe, assuming this is at my house, what time (if any) works for you?

I should be able to do the 19th. Not sure about the wife yet, as it will depend on babyu sitter availability. The time of day should not be a critical factor for me on the 19th.

SD Wineaux: If you are hosting, I think you should just declare a day and time(now that everyone has had a chance to weigh in), and we can all go about finalizing schedules and confirming that we are in or out.

Sorry I have not been participating in the conversation. I have been out of town this week.

Alright, I declare 5/19 as the winner of the voting, to be held at our house. A 2pm start time has been popular lately, so we'll stick with that.

So firm up those plans and we'll get a solid head count a little closer to the event.

I'll second the welcome, Caleb. You are certainly more than welcome to join us on the 19th if you're available (same goes for you, Darlene Smile). Otherwise, stay tuned for future threads.

Hello San Diego wine lovers. I'm new to the boards here, how does an 'offline' work? And where is the one on the 19th being held? (no need for the specific address, but a City name might help).
Is there a theme, price range, vintage, number of bottles to bring, food to bring? etc etc etc... Cheers!

Is there a theme nope, price range ~$40 as a point of reference, but we've gone under and over, vintage any that's ready, number of bottles to bring 1 per person attending, food to bring appetizer of your choice? etc etc etc... Cheers!

And as spo suggested, shoot me an e-mail for the specifics.

I think it's time for a roll call...we're in for 2!

We're definitely still on! BTW, if the sitter is an issue don't forget that my daughter will be here. Not as satisfying as completely getting away for awhile, but...

Have fun all. I wish I could be there, but duty calls. My weekend availability should improve in the second half of the year.
Cheers,
Red guy
